  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Entries can only be made by ordering from the relevant accompanying Magnamail catalogue. If ordering via the website www.magnamail.com.au orders must include the prompted keycode and customer number as specified on the promotional letter, in order to be eligible to receive the prize. Entry is automatic on receipt of a completed order. Only 1 entry permitted per order. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible orders will be deemed invalid.        
  3. Prior to any catalogues being distributed, winning claim numbers are preselected by an approved computer program by Handling Matters, 40/1-5 Thew Parade, Cromer NSW 2099, Australia in descending order of value with the Major Prize of $20,000 cash randomly selected first and so on with the Minor Prizes of the Santek Pedometer Watch (J1359) selected last. On receiving entries, the number allocated to each customer order will be compared against the list of winning claim numbers. When a matching entry is received the prize will be dispatched to the customer. 
  4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an order that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights 
  5. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant. 
  6. Promotion commences on 7th October 2019. Entries close last mail received (for mail orders) and 11:59pm AEDST (for online orders) on 6th January 2020 (“Promotional Period”) and all orders must be received by that date. 
  7. Following the end of the Promotional Period, the Promoter will verify all entries and determine the winner, to be completed by 14th January 2020. In the event any major prizes are not claimed, a second chance draw for those unclaimed major prizes will take place at Handling Matters, 40/1-5 Thew Parade Cromer NSW 2099, Australia, on 14th January 2020 at 3pm AEDST, in the presence of an independent scrutineer. All entrants that have ordered from the accompanying catalogue during the Promotional Period will be included in the second chance draw for unclaimed major prizes. Prizes will be awarded in descending order of value. Any winners will be notified in writing by mail within 2 business days and their prize will be mailed to them within 28 days. The name of the winners will be published in The Australian on Tuesday 28th January 2020 and Sunday Star Times in New Zealand on Sunday 2nd February 2020. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  8. Total projected prize pool value for Australia (excluding SA) and New Zealand is $808,383. Total projected prize pool value in Australia only (excluding SA) is $643,383. All prizes are valued in Australian dollars. For SA Residents Only: Total maximum Minor Prizes available in SA is 25,300 x Santek Pedometer Watch (J1359) valued at $20. For the purposes of the South Australian Lottery Licensing Regulations, the maximum potential total prize pool in SA is valued at up to $528,383 based on everybody who receives the Magnamail catalogue, claiming their prize. 
  9. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these terms and conditions all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. 
  10. ‘iPad’ is trademark of Apple Inc. registered in the U.S and other countries. Apple Inc. is not a participant in or sponsor of this promotion. 
  11. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise stated. If a winner of any major prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.  All cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque. 
  12. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.  
  13. In the event that winners of the second chance draw cannot be located, an additional unclaimed prize draw will be conducted. A draw for any unclaimed major prizes from the second chance draw may take place on 16th April 2020 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners will be notified in writing by mail within 2 business days of the draw and their names be published in The Australian on Tuesday 5th May 2020 and Sunday Star Times in New Zealand on Sunday 10th May 2020. 
  14. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. 
  15. Official game materials void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way. 
  16. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. 
  17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and, in addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant, without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant.   1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 to 100 years of age as at the closing date. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Entries into the Birthday Draw can only be made by ordering from the Magnamail Catalogue and accompanying promotional material that displays the Birthday Draw. Entrants must submit all requested information at the time of placing an order. If ordering via the website www.magnamail.com.au or www.magnamail.co.nz orders must include the prompted Media Code and Customer Number as stated on the Birthday Draw cover letter, in order to be eligible to receive a prize. Entry is automatic on receipt of your completed order. Multiple entries are permitted into the Birthday Draw provided each entry is submitted separately and in accordance with the entry instructions in the promotional material.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Promotion commences on 26th August, 2019.  Entries close last mail received on 15th November, 2019.  The draw will take place at Handling Matters, 40/1-5 Thew Parade Cromer NSW 2099, Australia on 29th November, 2019 at 3pm AEDST.  Winners will be notified in writing by mail or email within two (2) business days of the draw and their prize will be mailed to them within 28 days. 
  6. The name of the winner will be published in The Australian on Tuesday 10th December, 2019 and Sunday Star Times in New Zealand on Sunday 15th December, 2019. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. The first valid entry drawn from all valid entries received in the Birthday Draw will win the Major Prize, which consists of $30,000, and the chance to win additional prize money up to the value of $220,000 in accordance with the Birthday Game, which will be determined in accordance with condition 8.
  8. The Promoter, or its agent, will program into a computer all dates between 16th November 1918 and 15th November 2001 (inclusive). The computer will then randomly select a date from this range. This draw process will take place at the same time as the original draw. The Major Prize winner‘s birth date, as stipulated on the order form, will be compared to the drawn birth date, and additional prize money may be awarded as follows: (a) if the month stipulated in the drawn date matches the winner’s month of birth an additional $10,000 (odds of winning 1 in 12); (b) if the day stipulated in the drawn date matches the winner’s day of birth an additional $15,000 (odds of winning 1 in 31); (c) if the year stipulated in the drawn date matches the winner’s year of birth an additional $25,000 (odds of winning 1 in 84); and (d) if all three elements of the drawn date (i.e. day, month and year) match the winner’s complete date of birth, then all of the above mentioned prize money will be awarded, as well as an additional $170,000 (odds of winning 1 in 30,681). The winner’s birth certificate (or any other form of proof of age as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion) will be required to verify his/her birth details.
  9. Total prize pool is valued at up to $250,000. All prizes are valued in Australian dollars. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.  All cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque.
  10. In the event the Major Prize, as offered, is won but unclaimed, a draw for the unclaimed Major Prize may take place on 2nd March 2020 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The winner (if any) will be notified in writing by mail or email within two (2) business days of the draw and the winner’s name will be published in The Australian on Tuesday 17th March, 2020 and in the Sunday Star Times on Sunday 22nd March, 2020.

For the sake of clarity, in the event the unclaimed prize draw is required to take place in respect of the Birthday Draw, the unclaimed prize draw winner will win the Major Prize as offered. Namely, they will be offered $30,000 and the chance to win up to a further $220,000 via the Birthday Game. A second Birthday Game will be conducted at the same time as the unclaimed prize draw, in accordance with condition 8, to determine if the unclaimed prize draw winner will win any further prize money.

By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and, in addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant, without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. Magnamail Pty Ltd Terms and Conditions of Entry
 
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. There will be a total of 485,742 Magnamail catalogues and email offers distributed amongst residents of Australia and New Zealand. Some customers may receive both a mail catalogue and email catalogue. Customers may submit one (1) order per catalogue they receive. Only one (1) prize will be assigned to each unique customer order number (as set out below) however all orders will be entered into the unclaimed prize draw for any unclaimed major prizes (as set out below).
 
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Entries can only be made by ordering from the relevant accompanying Magnamail catalogue. If ordering via the website www.magnamail.com.au orders must include the prompted media code and claim number as specified on the promotional letter, in order to be eligible to receive the prize. Entry is automatic on receipt of a completed order. Only 1 entry permitted per order. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible orders will be deemed invalid.      
 
3. Prior to any catalogues being distributed, winning claim numbers are preselected by an approved computer program by Handling Matters, 40/1-5 Thew Parade, Cromer NSW 2099, Australia in descending order of value with the Major Prize of $20,000 cash randomly selected first and so on with the Minor Prizes of the Monique RFID Crossbody Bag (B422) selected last. On receiving entries the number allocated to each customer order will be compared against the list of winning claim numbers. When a matching entry is received the prize will be dispatched to the customer.
 
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an order that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights
 
5. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
 
6. Promotion commences on 4 March, 2019. Entries close last mail received (for mail orders) and 11:59pm AEDT (for online orders) on 30 April, 2019 (“Promotional Period”) and all orders must be received by that date.
 
7. Following the end of the Promotional Period, the Promoter will verify all entries and determine the winner, to be completed by 14 May, 2019. In the event the major prize is not claimed, a second chance draw for the major prize will take place at Handling Matters, 40/1-5 Thew Parade Cromer NSW 2099, Australia, on 14 May, 2019 at 3pm AEST. All entrants that have ordered from the accompanying catalogue during the Promotional Period will be included in the second chance draw for unclaimed major prizes. The first valid entry drawn from all valid entries received will win the prize of $20,000 cash. Draw winner will be notified in writing by mail within 2 business days and their prize will be mailed to them within 28 days. The name of the winner will be published in The Australian on Tuesday 21 May, 2019and Sunday Star Times in New Zealand on Sunday 26 May, 2019. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

In the event of a second chance draw or unclaimed prize draw, prizes will be awarded in descending order of value. The Minor Prizes include: 34,400 x Monique RFID Crossbody Bag (B422) valued at $20. 10. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these terms and conditions all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured.
 
11. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise stated. If a winner of any major prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.  All cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque.
 
12. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 
 
13. In the event that winners of the second chance draw cannot be located, an additional unclaimed prize draw for each draw will be conducted.
